House Going Good, Work Going Bad

Housework Continues

As usual, the work continues on our new home at a steady pace. Mom and Dad Sizemore have been making regular trips to help out with the renovations as well as any problems that crop up. Mom and Dad Krones have been making the occasional trip as well. Every time we can get both of them together, major improvements get made.  Here's a look at how things are going so far!

There's a leak in the guest bathroom shower. It leaks into the
garage. This problem is the bane of my existence!

Jeanie's studio.

Our kitchen is almost done! It just needs a set of door, the
crown molding, and the toe-kicks.

Jeanie's office. She's going to hang some pictures and it's
pretty much done!

My awesome workshop. The cabinets you see are the ones
we took out of the kitchen at the beginning of the remodel.

If you come visit, this is where you'll stay!

Our awesome art room. All it needs is a bit of organization.

My bedroom. I think it's the only room in the whole house
that's 100% done.
The house is coming along quite nicely, I think.

Work Problems

For a little while now, I've been having some issues. I'm working far too many hours for my liking and not getting paid as much as other trucking companies give out. Also, I keep getting told on less than 12 hours notice that I have to work on the weekend. I have to quit my job in September anyway (since the GI Bill requires me to be a full-time student and I can't do that while I work here at KKW), so I'm thinking of just sticking it out until the new semester starts, just so that my resume won't have a couple of short jobs on there. I'd rather have just the one for a longer period. What do you think I should do?

Either way, I'm going to start looking for a new job that I can keep while I go to school. Something part time.
